Just now finished hooking up the boat to go to Texoma tomorrow and found this. Clueless how it happened. Quicksilver 19. Anyone know if there's anybody up that way that could help or sells props like this. Am I asking for trouble if I take it our like this and go easy?
Thanks

yeah i wouldn't run it like that at any RPM, it is just about to throw an ear. Call the service center at highport they may have one or can tell you where you might find one close. There is also a place in Kingston, OK i think. Or go fish fork instead and see Steve @ Steve's custom props.

Do Not Run that prop. It will sling the blade and could destroy your lower unit. Call a local prop shop and get another or send it to Steve in Quitman, TX. and have it fixed.

There is a 19 pitch mercury on the trading post.

Or drill holes on each side of the crack and use zip ties........ noidea

Seriously, I wouldn't even start the engine with that prop on. That thing is ready to sling the blade any second.

Agree, don't run it at all. Not only might it do more damage, but it could be dangerous at high rpm. Just looking at the picture, there's no obvious signs of impact damage. I would show it to Merc and see if they'll do anything for you.

North Texas Marine over in Gainesville may be able to help, but I see your in McKinney so that may be
a little far to run.

Sure wouldn't put that in the water.

Thanks for all the help guys and....never tell a old retired plumber to use duct tape...or bailing wire haha! Got a replacement up at Texoma today and was able to fish almost as planed. The fish cooperated even a few good bites. Rick I checked the trading post and didn't see the 19 last night. I'll check again a spare may be a good thing.

Really...ha...I'm not worried you made a needless comment like a couple of the other ones...at least they were humorous!
