We had a great trip, probably boated 40-50 fish of all species. Largemouth, smallies, spots, stripes, drum, and even a big gizzard shad. Fished mostly main lake points and the more wind on them the better. Didn't catch any monsters, but did get a few 2.5-3lb smallies and the biggest spot I have caught in a long time it weighted 3.05 on my rapala scale. Probably 14-15lbs best five, but we were there to catch fish and that we did. Lots of small 8-10" spots and smallies but they were sure fun to catch. I think hunter had more fun letting the fish go than catching them. He enjoyed the day on the water though and really enjoyed the rough ride back to the boat ramp. We caught all our fish on 1.5 size squarebills and medium divers in shad patterns and I caught 4 on a jerkbait.

Hey Brad awesome, sounds like Hunter had a great time. I was on Texoma yesterday on the other side, that wind was such a beating we couldn't manage the main lake at all until sundown. Caught a few but not like yall! Your boy must be pretty fearless! How old is he? Mine is 7 and Ive only had him out 1 time, but not in wind like that. We caught a bunch of small ones to, looks like Texoma is going to be great in years to come
