we started out fishing 23fow with very little luck, decided around 11 am to move shallower and boy was that a good idea.ended up with 20 keepers.bfod was 1.96 and best 7 went 12.43 jigs tipped with minnows out fished jigs soaked in slabslobber.my 8' bonehead rod did and excellent job handling some nice fish today. we also ran into tbox and his friend I believe his name as redsnappa at gas station, nice to meet you guys cheers thanks again carl for putting us on some good fish thumb

Good catching! This proves, deeper is not always better. I plan on, standing on the "Winners" circle @ the GTG with fish caught in 10-14ft depths, using my jigging technique! One jig and One pole!

I don't know how these compare to what guys are catching deep because I can't get a deep bite going for me yet, but I thought we managed a few solid fish. I imagine some of the better sticks are catching big ones deep.

I think a lot has to do on where you are when they turn on......Maybe
After seeing ya'll, we headed out and started shallow....well, 15'......only 1 keeper
When the magical feed time came we were in 23'....but moved slightly shallower after we caught the aggressive fish from that spot.

A lot could have to do with where you have confidence in noidea
