Caught well over 150 pickles this weekend but the biggest one ended up being just 3.5 lbs. Started out with a Texas rigged worm but soon found out that a wacky rigged stick bait produced a better hookup ratio.   The next day I found larger fish in deeper water holding to a 8ft drop off. A chrome/blue rat l trap had a fish hooked just about every cast.  After getting tired of weeding through small bass I went after some larger fish with cut bait and live bullfrogs

Good job. Were the frog's legs any size? Couldn't you have ate those? I love frog legs.

Normal fall fishing is all. Some days its all numbers with an occasional toad.

Donald the frogs were an inch long at max, I love to eat the ones of size too but none were to be found
