I've never been there before, can you run the lake OK or are there submerged trees?

most of cypress is wide open, there are a few shallow points but that is mainly in the back of coves where it is no wake anyway. There are a couple around the state parks (cant remember the names) so on the safe side just swing out around points if you are unsure. Otherwise there are no issues

The above answers are all correct. There is no timber anywhere on the lake where you can run. one other thing to watch out for and I have seen someone get a ticket for it (ski boat) is there is a law on the lake that you can only go idle speed within 200 feet of any shoreline. Can't tell you how many guys I have seen come flying into where my dock is.

West of the bridge there are some very shallow spots. Got stuck so bad two weeks ago I had to get out of the boat and rock it out of the mud.
