My boys called and wanted to go dock shooting, so Mama said if it's the boys you can go. Course after a long of night of parting they didn't show up till about 8:00 am but off we went. Dustin fishes with me all the time but Casey is the hunter in the family so I have to split time with his Uncle Ike.
We stated off hitting docks and the fish were eager for the Slab Slanger by Mr. Crappie. Color didn't seem to matter as long as you got it to the spot.
One of the docks we hit, produced about 20 keepers with more than a couple of doubles.
Off we went in search for more docks and Casey says this thing will fly, first time he has been in the skeeter.
We kept at it and decided to call it a day about 1:30.
Ended up with 31 keepers and around 20 throwbacks all caught on docks.
Decided to have a few for supper and they deserved it.
