 Navionics freshest data download question

Emailed navionics to ask if I should use blank SD card to download freshest data or, use navionics card for download. Recv'd 2 different answers from navionics tech support. One tech said use blank card, the other tech said use navionics card. Question---what is the correct card to use? Thanks in advance!!

Freshest Data is updating a map card.
All new purchases include a year of Freshest Data updates.
ONLY Navionics map cards can have Navionics map data.

How long have you had the card? The Premium South card has a S with a number beside it. What is that number?

Sorry, platinum south. I was able to download freshest data to my navionics card. Just wish all navionics tech support ppl were on the same page!!
