Doe anyone know if there is a good putin below, but close,to Granbury dam? And is there enough water to paddle and not do too much dragging? Thanks!

BRA provides walking access to the north side of the river just below the dam but getting a canoe/kayak to the river would be a major pain. There is about a 2.5 mile pool below the dam that can be paddled at the current release rate (avg 16 cfs) with several private access points along that stretch. Minimum flow rate to get to Hwy 67 (next public access) without a lot of dragging is 300 to 500 cfs.
