Friends went Fri-Sat and did great both days other than the time the wind was from the north, said it was as good as it gets!

Went early on the north side of the lake, sandies were plentiful in 12-14 feet

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

We got a late morning start, the bite was definitely slower and we had to work a bit harder for em. Ended with a nice box of Magnum Sandies for dinner and released a few Hybrids.

Robert and I fished All day Friday and 1/2 day Saturday. Friday morning we found a lot of fish on the west side but we had difficulty catching as many as we thought we could. We caught fish on top water, rattle trap, jig, pet spoon and slab. We caught a lot of fish but we were somewhat frustrated that we didn't catch more given the amount of birds working and what we saw on the graph. I think we may have been too hard on our selves.
Friday afternoon was pretty much a wet boat ride. Strong North winds.
Saturday morning the wind was blowing so we decided to go across the lake to the East side. Good Decision. Found some top water and when they went down slabbin was producing. Medium sized chrome/silver shad shaped slabs were working for us. Slabs horizontal and vertical was working, either way you must keep it on or very near the bottom. No more than a foot or two. Caught a lot of nice sandies, some small stripes/hybrids and 2 nice legal hybrids. Later we went North and hit the mother load of sandies. The biggest I have every caught. Up to 16 & 3/4 in.
