Due to many requests for instructional trips I have decided to book a few while the weather is so nice.

Half day instructional trips (four hours). (Unless they are really biting then we might stay longer.)

Instruction in:
Graph set up and use including sidescan and downscan.
Proper us of GPS.
How to catch Crappie casting.
How to fish timber.
How to find and fish brushpiles.
How to find and fish hidden underwater trees.
Vertical jigging.
How to fish rocks and riprap.
Proper use of anchoring and when to anchor.
Building and using The Hook.
Building and using The Stump Catcher.
Proper rigging your rods.
While the main purpose of the trip will be teaching we will fish quite a bit.
You may keep any fish we catch but you clean them.
Trips will be on Lake Lewisville.
Price for:
One fisherman is $250.00 Two fishermen $300.00
No young children on these type trips. Its not a guided fishing trip, its instructional and kids get bored.

If one would take their note pads & pay close attention to all those topics they would easily be able to go get on feesh on their own....
Nice package!!!

What do we need to bring other than ourselves?

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Hey there Ernest, Is this in your boat? What type of electronics are covered? I'm pretty interested. I recently picked up a new unit that has GPS, Down scan as well as side scan and I'm sure I'm not getting as much out of this unit as possible.

Yeah I wish I could pay you to just come out on my boat on Ray Roberts and help fine tune my HDS 9 Gen 3. I think I have my down scan and side scan fairly good but my 2d I don't think I have as good as it could get.

Yes on my boat at Lewisville. We used downscan, sidescan, GPS & 2D sonar. Found sunken boat, underwater trees full of Crappie, brush piles and rock ledges.

We fished one bridge for a few min..three brushpiles, one rock pile, two underwater trees and one deep rocky ledge. Caught fish on all of them.

Caught about 80 total fish Today with 20 keepers. Spent lots of time on sonar searching.

Only thing you need to bring is your food and drinks and cooler to carry fish home in (if you want to keep any). You can bring your rods if you want. Let me know when you book if you want to use mine.

After today's trip with Ernest, I left with a lot of knowledge and confidence and a nice mess of fish to boot. I'm not really a Crappie guy, but I am starting to get interested in them. Ernest is a great guy and a pleasure to fish with. I'm looking forward to continue to learn about this fish and see how I do on my own at other lakes.

If necessary I can do an occasional trip in clients boat but be aware that in my experience it doesn't work out as well. Don't mind as long as you know in advance what to expect.
