Hey Guys, I'm trying to get my jon boat registered and I have run into a problem. When TPWD was reviewing my application they discovered the HIN number on the Illinois title does not match the HIN on the boat. I'm submitting a title correction to Illinois and hopefully that will take care of it but if it doesn't are there any other options for getting it registered in Texas?

I would keep after the title office in Illinois to make sure it doesn't get put on the back burner or "lost". You have to remember these people are government employees and a lot of them don't care about anything but making 5 o'clock.
Hopefully you kept copies of everything you sent to them.
