The kids are about to head back to VA with their mom, so we decided not to go to school today and instead spend it on the water with Waco Kid up on lake Waco. We fished for about 5 hours and it turned out to be a pretty good day. It has been over 2 years since I fished Waco and realized that a lot of the 10-11 inch fish we normally caught have grown pretty good. It seemed like we either caught dinks or good size fish. If anyone needs a nice trip to Waco I would get in contact with Dean on here.
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
