Planning on going to joe pool tonight and hitting a few deep spots from 10pm-3am.
My question is, is Carolina rigging at night effective? I usually drag a t-rig on the brush piles and do good.

yes. use a larger bait than during the day. 10 or 12 inch worm or large creature bait. I like adding a rattle to it

My favorite night color is Junebug. Good luck, hope you whack 'em.

You can catch them on a c-rig but I would recommend that you keep it simple at night and stay with a t-rig if they are biting it well.

Also try a big black monster worm on a shakey head.

10" powerworm in blue fleck or June bug is tied on anytime I fish at night. A small split shot rig with a senko or yum dinger can be very effective at night fishing piles.

I throw a RI big unit in hematoma. It displaces more water than a power worm and catches more fish at night.
