My son has a football game in Gainesville Saturday and we were thinking about stopping at the Marina afterwards to try and catch some slabs for dinner. Anyone been here lately? What should we expect. We will be using minnows. Is there any cover submerged around the dock? Any help is appreciated, we want to make it worth our time to stop. Or if anyone has another idea that is better in the area that would be great. We don't have a boat. THANKS!

First of all Welcome to the Forum. I do not fish RR but you should call them and they should be nice enough to give you info on what is happening out in the marine.
