My name is James Moore and I'm starting a new tournament on Ray Roberts this Sunday morning.
The tournament will be out of the Jordan Park ramp.

I'll be there at 6am for registration. I'll be in a brown and gold trimmed Ford (hold the jokes) F250....
Tournament starts at safe light as determined by me, till 1pm.
The scales open at 1pm and close at 1:30pm. (If you are in line with your fish at 1:30pm they will n
be weighed...)

All lake rules and regulations apply!!!
Life jackets are to be worn anytime the boat is on plane. and your kill switch MUST be attached..
Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by a competing adult..

All participants are subject to a livewell check before the tournament.

Entry fee is:
$50 per boat with a maximum of 2 people per boat.
$20 for a side big bass pot.
***only cash will be accepted***
Payout example,
1-5 boats stringer pays 1 place 90%
6-12 boats stringer pays 2 places 60% and 30%
13 and up pays 3 places 50% 25% and 15%


Payout is 90% of the entry fees on the stringers and 100% on the big bass pot.

If a tie should occur, the winnings will be divided equally between the teams that tied.

To start with this will be a 3 fish limit tournament.


I'm a long time fisherman and have fished various different tournaments. I hope to see you at the ramp Sunday morning for some great fishing tales and to see all the big Ray Roberts bass you bring in....

Moto382, I showed up this morning and only 2 boats showed up for the tournament.
I got the tournament listed pretty late because I couldn't find a scale. Once I located a scale a posted immediately, but it was Friday evening which didn't give people much time to decide to go, so that's all on me... I appreciate Pat and Hal giving it a try, and I apologize to them that no one else showed up..

Yes used to race just ride for fun now!

I raced for years!! I've got 4 bikes in my garage that I need to get rid of.
I had alot of racing and met alot of great people, now I'm meeting more great people through fishing...

I got tied up with honey do's today and couldn't make it out.


If you are going to do one next Sunday I'm in.

For those of you that didn't come out and fish. I stayed and fished till 1pm and caught somewhere around 45 bass. Only had 9 keepers but was still a good day. The first hour and a half
Was a buzz bait bite. After that it was all plastics. The lake is fishing pretty good right now. Lots of small fish but still a lot of fun. I won't make the next tournament but I will make the one on the 25th if it's on and more boats show up.

Pat, I appreciate you coming out to try and support this tournament. It was great meeting you and talking with you while we waited.. Sorry we didn't get more boats.
