By depth and color. Typically have 2-3 boxes for each depth range (shallow, med., deep, x-deep) and then colors are separated by natural, chartreuse and citrus shad variations, and crawfish/bluegill. Depending on time of year and or lake, decides what's in the boat.

I always store my cranks by color. It's just easier for me. However, I have three different boxes of cranks. I have one deep 3700 for squarebills, 1 deep 3700 for DD cranks and 1 deep 3700 medium cranks.

By depth then by color and then by sound. I have way to many Plano boxes full of crankbaits though. LOL I swear if I took all my junk outta my boat I could start my own tackle store.
