 Guess I need to learn!

Went to the local pawn shop yesterday just to look around and I just happened to ask if they had any fishing rods....He said we have some trash ones but hey I got something we cant sell so we are making it down 50%!
He pulls out a TFO BVK 9' rod with tags STILL attached and a Lamson Guru and the sticker on it is $199! FOR BOTH!!!
He then preceeds to say it was lost in their inventory and I could have it for $100!
I put $40 down and ill get it out here in the next week or so!
So looks like I need to learn how to use this thing! any tips and or trips?

Hook up with someone who does fly fish, or go to Cabelas or Bass Pro on a Saturday morning for free lessons, or join a club or contact a professional fly casting instructor.
Should none of the above suit you go to YouTube and search for fly casting and fishing instruction, however this is going to cause a lot of frustration and a longer learning curve.

Hook up with the Dallas fly Fishers. They take great joy and pleasure in teaching newbies.
Also, Rex W on here is their casting instructor and puts on some top notch casting clinics for their membership.
Plus, you'll develop a circle of fly fishing buddies.

it does have line on it but what kind would be a mystery to me!!!! I should get it out next week as I am excited to tinker with it!!!!
