Headed to cedar creek for the first ever this weekend. Looking for sandies. Going to have a 5 year old with me and hoping to put him on them. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Enchanted Isle has been pretty good for me most trips. Spillway hump for others. They are pretty close together. Mepps #2 and #4's or slabs. I haven't seen any top water action. If you find a good bite and it slows down, they usually haven't left. They normally move over a little bit. There are lots of humps and ledges to check but the southern half has been slow. Key Ranch area and North of it have been good.

Search the many posts of Dennis Christian on CC lake, you will find the names of the humps and the depths he is CATCHING
Hope you put your boy on some fish...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
