I'm moving to Van Alstyne and I am wondering which one would be better to rent a slip from. I fish for bass, cats, and crappie.

tough call, but there are more slips available on Texoma. It is a lot bigger too.

I would vote for texoma, but either would be a good choice. Both lakes are fishing good for small bass right now and the next couple years should be great for numbers.

Since you said bass, cats and crappie I'm going to say Texoma. One of the best cat and crappie lakes. Not to mention the striper Capitol of the world and a good large and smallmouth fishery.
