If you only had 3 to 4 days to fish, which lake in Texas would you fish? Between now and Christmas, when would you go?

Toledo Bend, I guess late Oct early Nov. Just because I've never been on the lake.

You won't go wrong with Toledo or Rayburn. Fork, Ivie, Chambers, and Falcon could be good too. Depends on how you like to fish and what your goals for the trip are really.
For just plain numbers of decent fish, Fayette, Chambers, and Squaw are hard to beat.
For the chance to catch really big fish or a really big bag of fish, Toledo or Rayburn... maybe Fork.
To get away from pressure and have a chance to catch a big fish, probably Ivie... maybe Falcon.
I have heard rumors of fish being caught at Choke... but nothing substantiated yet.

Thanks for the replies. Several of you mentioned squaw. I have never been there. What makes it so special?
Also, can you still get on Ivie? Any reports? Thanks

Squaw is a hot water lake so the fishing gets good when it starts to get cold.
Lots of numbers of solid 3-5 lb fish
You can still launch at Kennedy on Ivie. I havn't heard of too many reports lately, but its Ivie! Always a chance of a huge fish.
