Just throwing this out there. I saw earlier this year Brett Hite using a glass or composite rod for throwing a chatterbait. Since then, I started using my Power Tackle composite cranking Rod and absolutely love it for throwing chatterbaits. I was ripping it over grass today and it performed flawlessly. Hook up ratio is better as they really get the bait since the tip is soft, I'm not jerking it away from them like before with a stiffer Rod. Anyway, just my 2 cents, but if you chatterbait a lot, try using 1 of your cranking rods.

I don't throw a chatterbait a lot but I will try this next time I do.

A good composite or glass is the way to go. Dobyns 736CB champion is amazing for vibrating jigs
I can backlash toilet paper.
