Saturday was a little slow but bite was better today. 10 6-10 pounders, 1-slot fish.

Great fish! A buddy and I are heading out there this weekend. Any advice? Is bait still pretty easy to find in the shallows?
We have a couple spots in mind, but any input is appreciated!

Bait has been getting a little tough here lately. Its been taking a lot of time to get the large gizzard shad I have been using. I only use rod & reel to catch these fish in the 30 to 38' range. Good luck!

Thank you sir. We will also be using solely rod and reel. I appreciate the info.
I will post updates if there is anything worth updating.
