Caught a beautiful smallie today on ray roberts she weighted 4.18 on my rapala hand held that has been fairly accurate for me in tournaments. Plus I caught it using one of my new crankbait patterns for the first time. Broke my old pb of 3.6 for a smallie. This one was a fun fight for sure and when I saw the cranbait barely in her mouth and I didn't have a net in the boat that was a scarey feeling trying to get her in.

watch out for that version of the instrument panel, its not if they go out, its when. They have a replacement with rocker switches instead of push buttons.

Ditto. The panel will fail. Don't let it fail the morning of a tournament like it did with my boat. The rockers are what you need.

When I saw that pic that was the first thing I thought of also. Went through a few of those myself.

Nice smallie!!! I have the same panel on my boat. Previous owner carried a spare at all times. either upgrade to the rockers or get a spare to have on hand.

Never saw you today bud, where were you fishing? Most of the boats I saw today were in sand, but I didn't see you in there.

Mike you just let me know when and we will dang sure go do that. I'm taking the wife out on texoma either Sunday or Monday to try and catch some smallies or anything that will bite. She has never been on texoma so she wants to sight see more than anything.
