I am still getting the hang of this. I made 5 of each of these jigs. I struggle a little with consistently getting each jig identical. One may have a fuller tail. One may have a little more flash. I'm not too worried i think they will all catch fish!

I think they will fish also, when you first start out fishing your jigs carry something to trim the tails if needed and soon you will have a better ideal of what you want.

Yes as said above, it will get bets with practice! If you were to follow fly tiers they actually count the number of flash to a degree and will tell you in a pattern that you should use a range of flash strips. A little goes a long way!
