Hey guys!

What headlamps do you recommend for overnight cat fishing?

Thanks!

This is the onlyicture I have of it, but this is the ultimate hatlight. Zip tie a mini mag to the bill of your hat. It's far enough from your face so the bugs don't land on it. Chicks dig it too.

Fenix lights are where you need to look. They are the absolute best bang for the buck. There have a pretty sweet one, HP40F but its pricey at 90$.

The one I'm currently using is a Fenix E12 with the Fenix head band. I bought each one separately so it cost me about 45 from ebay in total. But the amount of light and how long it last is perfect for fishing all night on a boat and its powered by a single AA if I remember correctly. The weight is also perfect.

Just my 2 cents but Fenix smokes Streamlight any day of the week.

I'll second this. Besides making quality lights, they are also a good company to deal with. I lost a battery cap a few years back, and they sent me another one for free.

I really like the cabelas Alaskan guide xpg head lamp. It seems a little bulky but its balanced nicely. Has 4 different light settings. White and green, bright and dim. It will put out 200 lumens, which I think is plenty. And it's a pretty focused beam so it has great ditance. But 200 lumens for 70 hours is great or u could do 40 lumens for 150 hours. For 89$ it's a little pricey, but being cabelas brand if anything were to go wrong with it u can exchange it.

you won't need another one. i can navigate across a lake at night. now with that said, you have to dodge big bugs lol cause its literally a spot light and keep you some batteries on hand!
