my guide in Florida about 15 years ago said it was at least a 17. Cause his customers to that point had put 38 15's in his boat. Missed the net by inches and broke off at Rodman.

living at Lake Fork brings you a lot closer to this on a daily basis. What I have learned is to do don't depend on the drag. As soon as I get a big fish on I depress the spool release and use my thumb. I have heard of Gamy hooks straightened before on big fish. So I use Owners.

I want be using Gamy any longer and I am practicing using the thumb, know lots that do!
