I want to fish some!! Moved to Fort Worth almost 2 years ago, and have been confined to the metro lakes due to work. I want to take a trip to find somewhere I can swim a jig, throw a frog,etc. what's the closest lake that has some decent vegetation right now. Not marine creek! Thanks

Athens & Lake clark has tons of grass and pretty close.

Ricky, is the grass on cedar creek mostly hydrilla or are there pads and floating stuff too?
