It was brought up last night the idea of a "working mans" tourney for cats. Marnier Sails has done such a great job with the bass tourney. The season is here and the cats are biting. Im not too keen on the idea of a weekday tourney because of work, but what are your thoughts? What lakes would you like to fish? Any ideas are great, at this point we are rolling ideas around trying to come up with the best way to get the highest turnout. Thanks

Friday night maybe Saturday night? I know Arlington and grapevine have excellent populations and are centrally located. With grapevine producing a number of fat cats this year I think it would be a great place I probably won't be fishing many of these but I would at least make a couple...well as long as some one shows me how to cat fish...

Wow! "WorkingMans" Rides Again! What a great idea Christian. I hope there is some interest in this. Mariner is definitely in if you guys decide to do it.

Yep, somebody would have to teach me how to catfish. Although lack of knowledge never stopped me from bass fishing.

What if we started the season off with a catfish camp. Then tourney after. I know we have done several catfish camps with good turnouts. I can with possible pic posting help show the leaders etc that I use. Lets make this happen and have the working mans thing help year round.

You need to make a decision so I can put it on our calendar.

How about a Saturday afternoon and a Sunday morning. It would be a shame if the organiser, at least until Jerry helps the cause, can't fish.

Probably does need to be on a weekend, gotta get bait before you can fish, and sometimes that's hard. You have to invest more time into catfishing.
