Went camping with the wife, along with two friends who'd never been camping before. Since I was the only one who fished, I only got to spend a couple of hours on the water...but it was pretty successful. Caught 12 bass, two of which were keepers and one which went 4lbs. All fish were caught on a Norman Suspend+ crankbait in shad color off drops on 10-12ft of water. Also caught a 14 inch crappie on the same bait. Overall, it was a gorgeous weekend.

Steinhagen, right?
I've camped there a couple of times at Sandy Creek and I have to say it's one of the most gorgeous lakes I've seen. I've been dying to fish it but haven't had a chance to drag the boat up there yet. I've heard it's pretty stumpy, though. Have any problems running it? Thanks for sharing.
