I wish I could make it but this is the last weekend of duck season and my ice box isn't full yet. I'll probably hit most of the other events. My dog got hurt on Saturday (stepped on a downed mesquite tree barb) and is out so I'll be fetching my own damn ducks. Have fun guys.

so what kind of setups are you guys gonna have, i will be with my friend in a ten foot two man boat with NO trolling motor, we have an onboard livewell and a battery so we get to row all of it around that big place!!!

i will be in a 10 foot bass raider (mossy oak wrapped ). i have a homemade livewell/back seat, pedistal seat up front, and hopefully my 3 horse outboard will be ready to run by saturday. if i can get the outboard is ready, then i will move my 50# thrust min kota trolling motor up front. right now it is in the back of the boat.

10' basshound. trolling motor, live well,lights,depth finder.

hurricane makes THE BEST finese and drop shot worms. i have caught fish on these worms via drop shot where the hook wasnt even set and i was still able to get the bass to the boat simply because it wouldnt let go of the drop shot worm. they are super soft, bass love em. they are good to use after a front comes through, or when you are in a situation where the fish discharge your bait before you can set a hook.

I'll be there in a 10' Pelican, 50lb thrust MinnKota. Got a 2nd to fish in the rear with me.

exgolfer, i believe we will have atleast 15, but i have heard from around 40 people or so, so we will see. we arent accepting prepaid entries, so its kind of hard to tell a number until the morning of.

me and my brother in law (mang) will both be in seperate 8 foot trout unlimited pontoons. i have a 28lb TMotor but can't get it registered in time. so we will be rowing. depth finder. lazy suzan rod holder with 5 rods and mounted tackle box. and a floating livewell. good luck and see you saturday morning. (are we gonna need lights on out boats that early? i don't have any yet and don't really want to be rushing around trying to get some.)

bowtie, brazos said that there is no warden and the park ranger is not bad about anything, so im chancing it with no registration, it shouldnt be a big deal, but there is a risk factor, will have boat registered by next week, just not in time for the tourney
