What is similar, but sturdier? I seem to get 1-3 fish on a Senko and toss it away.

Keitech Salty Core Stick If I know I'm gonna go through a bunch of senkos in a day and the action isn't super important, I'll use these. They have really good action for not being a Yamamoto senko. They're durable as well. Plus, if fish are super keyed in on a senko, I don't seem to notice a difference in who catches more on what.

I use Quickbaits QuicKcinq and it is almost indestructible. I have caught over 25 fish on one bait. Doesn't have the same amount of salt that the Senko has, but it last forever. https://squareup.com/market/quickbaits/quickcinq-green-pumpkinHope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. I think almost all stick baits are tougher than senkos. . .but I think that's also the exact reason senkos work better. They have to be that soft to get the proper "shimmy" on the fall. I've fished cheap stick worms up against senkos multiple times and the senkos always win.

The most durable are the z man elaztec sinker z and strike king zero (exact same thing) but they really float. Would definitely want a nail/screw weight or split shot/weighted hook or small wacky jig head They will last 20-30 fish. Do not mix these elaztec plastics with other baits--chemical reaction occurs that will melt everything in the bag
All other stick baits are a little more durable than the silica treated Yamamoto plastics. Using a an oring or two from the plumbing section in hdepot or lowes helps to prolong the life of stickbaits

Tiki Sticks by far are the most durable I've ever used.

Thanks. Doing annual El Salto and Picachos trip in February,so Yamamoto action is not that important. I've liked the Big Bite version.

In pressured waters or tough conditions it still seems like the original Senko out performs all the other knockoffs. Used to be able to get the Tsunami baits that were Yamamoto but cheaper but can't find them anymore.
