Hubbard has been very tough for me this year. They are not at the usual structures but when they are they move fast. A week ago I went looking at a dozen places and finally found then at the 3rd buoy Rodney King hump in 15 ft. But most were small. I only found Birds working once this year. But I've fished a lot less this year compare to the last 10 years due too son's activities and due to the flood and rains on the weekends that I can fish. I really can't wait till deadstick season!
Also this time of year, the transitional to Fall/Winter weather, Hubbard is usually tough. That's why I usually head down to the coast during this time where its prime time bull ride of the bull reds!
