I just moved to the Tyler area. I'm from West Texas. I have fished many tournaments, but have never fished this late in the season. I'll be fishing lake Palestine tomorrow just for fun with my girls. I'm not use to these shallow east Texas lakes. Not sure where to start in the morning. I do know the bass have started schooling. Just looking for advice. Should I go main lake points, main lake pockets, mid creeks, or back creeks? Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. I have some great spring info on Lake Ivey, and Amistad!

Welcome to the forum John. I lived in Odessa for 30 years and also fished your two best lakes all the time. You have the knowledge to find them from fishing Ivie and Amistad. It will be a piece of cake for you. Wish I could help, just don't fish East; but find the bait entering the mouth of the creeks and you will find the Bass.
