Today was my best day ever crappie fishing.Got invited to fish with Eric.Started fishing at 7:30-8:00 AM on brush pile but it was too windy. Off we go to the dock, Eric found the right one, gave me instructions and we start catching. After watching Ernest's video on shooting docks a couple of times a week, for some reason I thought it was going to be easy, boy was I wrong. First dock had 15-20 fish, maybe 10 kippers. Second dock the same, third dock- fish concentrated in very small area and they wore very healthy...12-13" fish, not many throwaways. Ended the day with 39 fish. Eric used black/chart tube jigs, I used my hand tied jigs in chart 1/32,1/64. Once again Eric, I appreciate your patience in teaching me how to properly shoot the dock.
