Had a good night on Wednesday. A lot of dinks but also some nice keepers and caught this toad that was nearly 15" and weighed close to 2lbs.




Headed out on Sunday and would bet it will be even better.

No trolling motor for today. Had to fish anchored or tied up all trip. Second stop anchored in some rocks and anchor line rubbed thru on the rocks. Lost one new anchor. Luckily I had two anchors.

After such a start you would think the day was a bust. NOT TRUE. Pontoon was a great fishing platform Two bimini's made great shade. Boat was roomy, fished off front and back depending on wind. Learned a great deal on how to anchor fish. Caught over 100 total Crappie including 31 big keepers. Best day in a long time. Fished until 3:00 PM.

I was pre-fishing for our trip on Thursday. I didn't want to look bad in front of the D2 CAT Winner.

That's where we differ. I have no problem looking bad in front of anybody.
