Looking for a good line. The one I used before was sold to a new company and quite frankly its [censored] now. Any suggestions? How is BPS Mono?

What will the line be used for? Are you looking for mono only?

I love Stren Original Mono and use it on my spooks. It floats the best.

Sunline Assassin FC For your flourocarbon needs, this line will be your best friend. Very limp and manageable. Berkley Trilene Sensation Can't beat this for mono. Power Pro Super Slick If you're a braid fan, look no further than Power Pro Super Slick. It's a very rounded line, so when you're making long casts with something as light as a frog or something as heavy as a giant swimbait, the line won't dig in to the spool.

Mono: Trilene Big Game Mono/Silicone copoly: McCoy's Mean Green Mono/Fluoro copoly: Pline CX Fluoro: Seaguar Red Label Braid: Power Pro +1 on this except the Red Label unless your fishing "clean" water. It has great straight line tensile strength but terrible abrasion resistance. I'd pay the extra for the Seagur Abrazx if your going to flip or be around docks, etc.

Berkley Big Game,,,inexpensive monofilament. McCoys Mean Green, P-Line CXX or Voltage (above 15 pound test CXX has memory issues). Good Copolymer lines. Seaguar Invizx. Good fluorocarbon line. Suffix 832 and Power Pro...good braids.

Like Mr. Harper, I prefer the original blue Stren for all of my mono fishing. Since I hate fluorocarbon, it's either Stren or Sufix 832 braid for me.

About the only thing I use braid for is Spro frogs. Everything else is mono except my spinning rods which is 10lb test Sun Line. I do love flipping into the thickest [censored] I can find. I suspect that may mean using braid more. I may need more rods
