Anyone been fishing on Amistad lately. Thinking about taking RV & boat down for a month or so. Haven't been there since April 2014 and it wasn't very good then.

lots of little fish being caught. pretty simple fishing right now. pick your pattern. lots in the grass or fish sticks and rock structure.
deep bite is still a little inconsistent in my book. schools of larger fish are hiding from me. better fishing for me has been 30' and shallower.
a guy can make it as simple as he wants or as complex. oughta work for you.
they are starting to school too. oughta be a fun fall to catch numbers

Just got back. Lots of small fish. Catch the bigger fish on frogs or flukes.
