My sister and I went to Dunlap this Monday for some perch. We fished from daylight
until noon. We caught maybe 30 perch total. We kept a dozen nice ones for dinner
and let the rest go. We used worms on drop shot and under a quill. We caught most
of them near docks and timber in about 8 foot of water. The biggest fish was a
10 inch redear. A great day on the water, my first for this fall season !

Doctorxring, you had a fun day. Congrats on catching good numbers and keeping enough for a good meal. No better fish for the table.

Nice haul! Dunlap produces yet again. Good job.

Side Note: Bet that lake has settled down now that most of the wake boaters have gone?

Thanks guys !

I'm looking forward to getting out there again in the coming weeks. There were still
quite a few pleasure boaters out on Monday, so I'll be looking forward to less of that !
Water temperature was 75F.

Nice catch. There are still a few ski and wake boaters on Mcqueeney. Hopefully the cooler weather will keep the rest of the wake/ski boats in. For the most part Mcqueeney has been GREAT since Labor day. Fish are starting to move to deeper water and we are finding them close to drop offs in 10 to 12 feet of water. Going to try to fish Dunlap this weekend if all goes well at work.
