Yes! Unfortunately, they're not in HD. frown

So true. I've already written and called them about this. Non-HD is almost criminal.

If you are, too, you can cancel the package online or by calling.

I did exactly that when they cancelled the Sportsman Channel. Would like to replace Verizon entirely but have the whole FIOS package. Anything out there better/cheaper?

Anyone have DirecTV? I was scanning through the channels and came across NBCSHD. It was showing fishing shows! I guess it stands for NBC Sports HD. The funny thing is (so typical)it shows programs like HEE HAW and Carol Burnett - The Lost Episodes also. What a crock.

I think Frontier bought TX Fios.

I have TWC because thats all thats available at my address. I have the most expensive bundle, but no "extra" channels unlocked. Meaning i only had 1 fishing channel and they canceled it years ago. I cant justify paying $15 or $20 a month for only 1 channel that I'd watch. I'd still rather have fios, because with TWC its almost 100% paid programming (infomercials) from 1AM to 8AM on every channel, not even new ones either, I've seen this chick try to sell weight loss "bowls" countless times where she says if your food fits in the bowl you can eat it

I don't use Fios or work for Verizon but try to remember that there are two groups involved in this - Verizon and the content provider. The content provider is the one who sets a price on their product that they offer to Verizon. The two sides usually come to an agreement somewhere in the middle. For all we know, the content provider wanted way too much for the programming and refused to bargain in good faith with Verizon. Don't forget to call both Verizon and the Outdoor Channel folks and let them both know that you wish their programming was still carried on Fios.

I agree that it stinks that Verizon would not reduce a bill when you are getting less programming. That's on them.

I got the email this morning also, that's two channels I pay extra for that we lost. I wonder if my bill will be cheaper now? If not, they will be hearing from me.
