between coast guard captains regs and this lost lake fishing season I'm betting there will be extremely few full time guides left on Texoma for years to come.

Chris,
Is there a particular area or depth where people are catching sand bass?

I've never caught a sandie at Texoma.

As far as I know, I have spoken to the local game wardens about the coast guard regulations on Guides at lake Texoma and they told me at this time there are none.correct me if i am wrong. It has been Very tough fishing only white bass on the north island.

I fished Texoma this weekend. We caught a few small striper and LMB trolling in 10-15 feet of water on crank baits. I saw a few fish on the finder but no big schools anywhere. We fished most of the lake between the Islands and the Dam. I hope they school up soon. We couldn't even find any sand bass!

Oh well, the weather sure was nice and a slow day fishing beats a good day at work anytime.
