Today I had Bob and Paul from Wimberly, out on Lake Somerville for the morning. Bob was wanting some fish for his 80th birthday party coming next weekend.
Bob has been with me several times, it was Paul's first trip, so Bob was hoping for a good day for Paul. Winds were WestNorthWest, switching straight North by 10 am, light, less than 10 mph.

Lake is at full pool and the gates are closed at the dam.

The bite was on at the first spot, with Paul landing big fish of the day with a 5 3/4 lber. We moved around hitting four different spots, catching a few fish at each location. They ended the morning at 11:30 with 50 nice cats in the cooler, four of them around 5 # size.

All fish caught under corks, in 8-12 foot water, on CJ's Crawdad punch bait.
