No law was broken when these men decided to clean and eat their catch. Would I have eaten such a large fish? No! But I find it funny that whenever a post like this is made, it stirs the bees nest and the name calling starts. I believe that shows more ignorance then the ones who decide to eat such a fish.
A Vegetarian chooses not eat meat, most of the time due to how factory farms raise and slaughter their animals, but would it be right for them to insult those of us who choose to eat meat? I view it as the same, as long as no laws are being broken, we are all entitled to our opinions but it doesn't give us the right to insult others that don't agree.

You have got to be kidding me, but you can't make this stuff up!!!!!! And we wonder why this country is in the shape it's in.
There are actually people that are willing to poo poo some one for catching and keeping a fish. I say it again a FISH that is perfectly legal to keep. And is in no danger extinction at all. It won't be long now.
Come on folks really that's what you are going to get upset about with all that is happening in today's world?
Why can't we be exited for the fisherman's catch and envious and hopeful that we can beat that record?
It is after all only a fish not a child, put that in perspective before you go insulting someone for keeping a fish.

No what is wrong with this country is one stating a opinion on the other side of another and you get but hurt. It's a forum for discussion and education, one could teach someone that they don't have to keep everything and put such an individual impact on any body of water. Catching that fish is awesome , eating it is legal. No one is calling the law , just saying a good fisherman can catch plenty of good eater size fish for food. That fish could make another child's dream come true of catching a monster. Plus what if it still has room to grow possibly bigger. Great catch , my hats of to the fisherman who caught it and no hard feelings. Grow some thicker skin!
