I finally busted the last 2 guides on my FAVORITE dock shooter. It's a nice one piece rod (not your typical cheap 2 piece ultralight), so I'd really like to replace those two guides. Anyone do repairs or make your own rods? Thanks!

There's a guy at Fork that's just east of the W 515 bridge that repairs them but I can't think of his name offhand.

I have made a few good rods for myself, but I am no professional. I have a hand rod tyer and a rod dryer, and Barlow's is right by my work, or have been thinking of ordering some stuff from MudHole to build me one more. i am in Ft worth, but work in Garland. I can repair if for you, if you want.

EW I use Reel Time rods. They are right across from the store at Pope's landing. Quality work for reasonable prices.
