Braid is awesome to use as backing. An added benefit is it adds weight to the spool and thus you can make longer casts...

Im gonn a have To try this. Been using mono for years but seems like braid might have some added benefits

I use braid backing. I think I said that in a comment on one of your videos. But, braid backing enables better casting.

Seems like a lot of people use braid backing. Didn't even put a thought to this being something that would be used

I guess braid. imma see what i have laying around and might back with 20lb all the way to 65lb just depends on what sizes i have collecting dust. I have been using cheap mono for years. Only reason i backed was to cut down on the amount of Floro i wasted. Never even thought about doing it to improve casting like Aaron Martins video talks about
