Rick & I took the pontoon out today for the first time. Shake down cruise was rather eventful. First stop revealed that the trolling motor mounting bracket that I bought at BPS was a piece of junk. No trolling motor for today. Had to fish anchored or tied up all trip. Second stop anchored in some rocks and anchor line rubbed thru on the rocks. Lost one new anchor. Luckily I had two anchors. After such a start you would think the day was a bust. NOT TRUE. Pontoon was a great fishing platform Two bimini's made great shade. Boat was roomy, fished off front and back depending on wind. Learned a great deal on how to anchor fish. Caught over 100 total Crappie including 31 big keepers. Best day in a long time. Fished until 3:00 PM.

I'm agreeing with Bobcat, finally got the image large enough where I could clearly see the solution Ernest came up with to mount his Lowarance....it appears to be a seat pedestal.....how smart is that.....the answer is way beyond smart....

You sir are giving us Pontoon Fisherman some Lake Cred!  Glad you are enjoying the boat. I find the comfort and stability of the pontoon a good trade off for maneuverability.
