I recently gained access to a slip on Colin Park Marina and yesterday came home with some keepers. Fried them up today and BOOM I am hooked!!! I gotta say that the THUMP is addicting and I am looking forward to learning more and catching more. We fished with minnows yesterday but I wanted to know if y'all felt that jigs would be as effective in the slips and if you could recommend some jigs to get? I don't want to have to buy minnows every time I go fishing. Thanks in advance!!!

Ha! I was surprised at how much fun I had and how badly I want to go back already! Thanks for your tips, do you suggest any particular brands or sizes?

Contact Todd and Belinda Box at Thermocline Lures. They will get you fixed up with some jigs and jigheads. There are days when they want minnows and days they want jigs. Typically, minnows will always work, but I like to feel that thump!
