Had Bri Jason and Nate Christopher out for a fishing trip. It was about like it has been the last
couple of weeks. Look look and look some more and if you are lucky you might find some. 3 and 1/2 hours into the trip I had 2 fish in the box. I found some on a 28 ft under water point. Ended up with 37 nice sandbass. All fish caught on chartuese and white ole ugly.
I here a lot of people say I am finding a lot of fish everywhere but will not bite. I suspect that is shad . The lake is loaded. When I find fish they are very aggressive and they are piggin out on shad. The trick is to find shad that have sandbass under them.

Good job Johnny and you are right. It seems that it is the same at a lot of lakes, huge schools of shad. Find the shad then keep looking until you find the shad with fish chasing them. The other thing I am experiencing is that there are a ton of small LMB. Chris,{Striper Express} noted that because of the lakes being over full the fry had cover and a lot of them survived. Problem is that with so many shad to eat it is hard to get them to bite your lure.
Kudos to you for sticking it out and putting your customers on some fish.
