Has anyone been up the river lately? I just need to know if it is accessible.

Haven't been up there lately but at 2.42 low (current level) it would be accessible.

With the lake at 433.05, you better know how to run in and out, this is about the level you almost have to run in and out on pad.

Was up there last week. I wouldn't try it on plane,there's isn't a spot to get off plane in the river. Once you go by the power lines there is a big ol stump. Turn there, you'll see the fresh water coming out of the river (it's about 5' wide and swallow).
You can make going slow. Was with a friend in his 20' Nitro. He couldn't get on plane between the golf course and the power lines.
There are a so many small bass up there you'll get tried of catching them.
The mouth of the river has silted in so much you have to go aways before you find deeper water.That's the dangerous part.

The river isn't the problem, it has plenty of depth to run in and get on and off plane. It's the 150 yards before the river that will give you the problems.

Try "going slow" in there if the water drops another 6-8" and you'll be stuck. I can run my 20' Bass Cat in there down to about 232.7 then it's really dicy.

You don't want to run straight from the power lines to the mouth, that's where the stumps are located. I'm not sure your experience up there, but that grass hasn't grown out that far in many years and the path through it isn't the channel. Just a path where people have went in and out of the river.
