Staying at the State Park my Lowrance unit elite does not pull up peanut patch I went past sandy beach all the way to Costello island and never found it the Platinum chip does not name it I found a flat on the left just past Sandy beach is that it?

Might be it. It's a big flat spot with a lot of trees. Should be some fish around costello pass.

Yes, I always thought the flat on the north side, from BRA # 5 bug beach to the river bend almost to North D&D ramp was considered peanut patch. I may be wrong, I'm not familiar with all the locally named spots.

1/4 mile + ridge running east/west with 2 prominent humps and a saddle in the middle. Old flooded homestead with stone fences on east end of slope . Between sand beach & north d&d- North of main channel. Large(20' +) trees on slopes. Gradual slopes sandy/ steep drops very large boulder outcroppings mixed in. Beware of "sleeper boulders". No flats in that area.

The patch is a pretty cool place with all kind of structure. One of the best places to fish year round at PK
