Do the jigmasters "click" as line is being taken? I like that acoustic feedback to let me know something is on if I'm trolling or have my hands full.

You can't go wrong with the tiger light poles from ugly stick. I have two that I use for tuna. They are both xhd. I use one with a shimano spheros and one with a talica 2 speed. The spheros was about 150 on eBay. You need a different reel than a talica for your price range

Abu reels are great for freshwater and light saltwater fishing. I would be concerned that they would be a little too light for tuna and other types of pelagics. I use an Okuma convector on an Ugly Stik tiger for offshore. http://www.amazon.com/Okuma-Convector-CV...okuma+convector

Seriously west coast guys used this setup for decades (hence the name of the reel) and many still do while taking a $5,000 fishing trip. Its a No brainer.
Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?
